Imagenes Press creates comprehensive “island portraits” of the island-subjects
we cover. Perhaps because author-photographer Roger LaBrucherie began his in-
ternational experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer, his photographic-essay books
are renowned for their coverage of the culture and history of their island-subjects.
And we take as much pride in the thoroughness and accuracy of our books’ texts
as we do in the beauty of their photography and design.
Our
Puerto Rico Pictorial Books and
Bermuda Pictorial Books are compact
versions of coffee table books. Although these smaller volumes contain brief
texts covering their subject’s history, people, and culture, the main focus in these
books is on the photographs.
Imagenes Press has been producing island picture books for nearly thirty years,

The “imagenes” in our company name is pronounced “ee-MAH-hen-ays” and
